Scheduling
Float training season is May through September when the ice is out. We put a Super Cub on floats after the Valdez Short Field Landing Competition in May of each Spring. Our float training season comes to an end in October every year when Lake Hood freezes up. We always keep a Super Cub and the Cessna on wheels, ready for tail-wheel and off-airport instruction. Ski training is best from February through April.
