Designated Examiner (DPE) at PALH

Examination fee for initial ratings: $700
Add-on ratings: $600
Re-test: $200 per hour of my time for re-test

I give FAA check rides at Lake Hood (PALH).

Items that you will provide for your check ride:
  • Aircraft documents (AROW) and the Airframe and Engine logs with AD list.
  • View limiting device, E6B (i-phone app. is acceptable), flight plan form. Current FAR/AIM, AFD, and Charts.
  • Photo ID
  • Verification of US citizenship in your log-book. Your instructor must check your birth certificate or your passport and write a statement in your log-book.
  • Student certificate or Pilot certificate.
  • Medical certificate.
  • Completed 8710-1 on IACRA with your instructor's digital signature.
  • Computer Test Report.
  • Pilot Logbook with appropriate Instructor Endorsement.
I give check rides for Sport Pilot, Private Pilot, Commercial and Instrument ratings for both Land & Sea Class designations, Flight Instructor renew, reinstate, and add-on ratings

Multi Engine Land: Private, Commercial, and ATP.
