N9418C gets a O-520

We installed a Texas Skyways O-520 on N9418C.  The aircraft has lots more power. 

The O-470R and the 88" McCauley propeller are "For Sale".

Summer 2015 at ACME Cub Training

The 2015 summer season is sizzling at ACME Cub Training.  N8977D is on floats for float ratings.  N8979D is on 31" Bushwheel tires for tailwheel instruction and Bush training.  We have four instructors at ACME this year:  Steven Williams, Richard Wight, Aaron Dial, and John Payne.

Spring flying at Knik Glacier

The snow is gone and the temps are rising.  Bill Eggimann and Aaron Dial had a fun day at Knik Glacier in March.  The season is beginning.

Ski Flying with Timo Oudhuis

Timo came to Alaska to fly skis.  It is a challenge to find good snow this year.  We installed our new F. Attlee Dodge Carbon Fiber X-1 skis and climbed to the 6000' foot level to find snow.

N703GF is sold to Gary Fields

ACME Cub Training finished the rebuild on N703GF.  Gary Fields purchased it and will take delivery this Spring.  ACME Cub Training has three additional Cubs that are in the process of getting a complete rebuild.  Contact us if you are interested in picking your modifications and colors.

Proenneke's Cabin at Twin Island Lake (glassy water)

Richard took N8977D to Proenneke's cabin on Twin Lakes and experienced "real" glassy water.
